Toronto, capital city from the Canadian province of Ontario, is definitely an art enthusiast’s dream. The city, the fifth largest in North America, hosts several major galleries and museums. 

The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM ) is that the largest in Canada using more than 40 galleries. The museum displays both art works and natural history items and also has the biggest collection of avian and mammalian skeletons in the planet. The museum’s Far East Collection, the biggest collection of far eastern artifacts outside of China, is anchored from the Ming Tomb, an entire seventeenth century warriors tomb and also the only complete Chinese tomb inside the West.

For longer than thirty years the Textile Museum of Canada has celebrated international fiber art. Their permanent collection contains greater than 12, 000 textiles, from pieces around 2000 years of age to modern designs, with samples from greater than 200 regions around the globe. 

The Bata Shoe Museum is housed inside a whimsical, shoebox-shaped building designed by architect Raymond Moriyama. The museum hosts a 4, 500-piece, semi-permanent “History of Shoes” exhibit that highlights samples of footwear spanning time and also the globe, from ancient Egyptian sandals towards the sleekly sexy stilettos of 1990s. The Bata also offers three additional galleries that display special exhibits through the entire year.
